Kimpex, a leader in the Canadian Powersports, is celebrating its 50th anniversary and looking forward to another incredible season. We are in need of some great people to help us grow. We seek dynamic, energetic & self-motivated candidates for the position of District Sales Manager.
  • Manage sales operations in assigned district (Grande Prairie, Peace River et Slave Lake);
  • Develop promotional programs to increase our products sales and achieve objectives;
  • Analyze sales performances and recommend improvements/strategies for our products;
  • Maintain strong relationship with clients through daily sales visits;
  • Contact potential customers and identify new business opportunities;
  • Attend client events, sales meetings and trade shows;
  • Stay abreast with customer needs and market trends;
  • Provide monthly schedule, call reports & sales forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager;
  • Maintain a high level of communication with the respective Kimpex staff to ensure communication and continuity.
The potential candidate must reside in, or be willing to move to the specified territory and assumes the expectation of frequent road & overnight travel. Ability to work extended hours as required.


  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience (Powersports experience is an asset);
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in business related field;
  • Proven sales track record;
  • Ability to travel as needed (approximately 80% of travel required);
  • Driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean criminal background.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral);
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, organizational & prioritization skills;
  • Ability to work on your own while still remaining part of a strong & successful sales team;
  • Hectic, fast-paced with multi-level distractions.
