Job Description

Reporting to the Quebec & Ontario Sales Manager, the District Sales Manager will visit dealers within his assigned Ontario district (Sault Ste. Marie, Timmins, Sudbury & Thunder Bay) to present and promote Kimpex products. He will also participate in the market development by seeking new dealers and reaching distribution agreements.

More specifically, the DSM will take up those challenges:

  • Manage sales operations in assigned Ontario district;
  • Meet with the dealers on a regular basis and enter into strategic sales agreements;
  • Promote Kimpex’ products and develop promotional programs to increase sales;
  • Support dealers and bring forward practical solutions to improve customers’ satisfaction;
  • Validate inventory records, help dealers throughout booking process and assess their requirements;
  • Participate in competitive intelligence tactics, contact potential clients and seek new business opportunities;
  • Provide monthly schedule, call reports & sales forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager;
  • Manage sample accounts and submit expense reports in accordance with Kimpex’ policies;
  • Attend client events, sales meetings and trade shows.


Requested profile
  • Post-secondary degree in business administration or equivalent experience;
  • Previous sales management experience, ideally 3 to 5 years as a District Manager (proven sales track record);
  • Passionate about Powersports industry (ATV, motorcycle, snowmobile and marine);
  • Fluency in English and ability to speak French (an asset);
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and B2B + Booking tools.

The potential candidate must have a valid driver’s license and must reside in, or be willing to travel within the assigned territory (Sault Ste-Marie, Timmins, Sudbury & Thunder Bay). He must also assume the expectation of frequent road & overnight travels and even abroad travels sometimes.
