Job Description

We are currently looking for a specialist in business development to fill a senior management position dedicated to the management and sales growth of our subsidiary for powersports products! This person will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the sales department and its resources while identifying and developing business opportunities for the company. The candidate must be agile and have a strong customer focus to negotiate complex contracts in an ever-changing environment with frequent new product introductions. This team player will also have to collaborate daily with our product development teams, and with other managers to achieve the overall goals we have set for the subsidiary. The main challenges will be the following:
  • Represent the company in dealing with all current and potential customers to promote our products and services;
  • Establish a growth plan with the team to achieve the sales objectives of the subsidiary;
  • Establish and monitor sales budgets and present results to management;
  • Manage customer satisfaction and key performance indicators;
  • Build and implement a market intelligence structure for our products;
  • Coaching the team to lead them towards performance, quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration;
  • More than 10 years of experience in sales or a related field, 5 to 10 years in a management position;
  • Bilingual (English and French);
  • International knowledge and experience, technical knowledge in the field of powersports is an asset;
  • Availability to travel frequently to clients, who are based primarily in the United States;
  • Have worked with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in the past.
