Founded more than 50 years ago, Kimpex is a Canadian company who distributes parts and accessories for motorized sports (snowmobile, ATV, motorcycle & marine). Many of the products we distribute around the world have been proudly designed by our engineering team in the province of Quebec. Job Duties

Reporting to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will visit dealers within his assigned territory to present and promote Kimpex products, while seeking out new opportunities and growth. The Regional sales manager will also coach and manage District Sales Managers (DSM). More specifically, he will:

  • Manage sales operations in the assigned territory (TBD);
  • Meet with the dealers on a regular basis and enter into strategic sales alliances;
  • Promote Kimpex’ products and develop promotional programs to increase sales;
  • Support dealers and bring forward practical solutions to improve customers’ satisfaction;
  • Support and assist his team of DSM on a daily basis;
  • Meet with DSM and travel with them;
  • Participate in competitive intelligence tactics, contact potential clients and seek new business opportunities;
  • Understand Kimpex positioning and market share within each dealers, each territories, and his region to use the right tactics in order to generate growth;
  • Daily update of the CRM, call reports & sales forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager;
  • Manage sample accounts and submit expense reports in accordance with Kimpex’ policies;
  • Attend and support client events, sales meetings and trade shows.

Knowledge & Expertise

  • Post-secondary degree in business administration or equivalent experience;
  • Great ability to manage and coach people;
  • Previous sales management experience, ideally 3 to 5 years as a District Manager (proven sales track record);
  • Passionate about Powersports industry (ATV, motorcycle, snowmobile and marine);
  • Fluency in English and ability to speak French would be considered an asset;
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, B2B sites and CRM.

  • Customer-oriented and exceptional ability to develop long-term partnerships;
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills with the ability to self-assess

The potential candidate must have a valid driver’s license and must reside in, or be willing to travel within the territory. He must also assume frequent road and Ferry travels, as well as overnight and abroad travels sometimes mostly Canada and USA.
